HOW TO MEASURE
Please, get the measuring tape and don’t forget to keep it comfortably loose while measuring. Measurements are more accurate if done by someone else.
- Neck. Measure around your neck.
- Shoulders. Measure around the shoulders.
- Bust. Measure around your body, under your arms, and over the fullest part of your bust.
- Chest. Measure around chest just under arms across shoulder blades.
- Waist. Hold measuring tape at your natural waist line.
- Lower waist. Has to be measured 3-5 cm under the waistline.
- Hips. For skirts and dresses measure around the fullest part of your hips with feet together, additionally for trousers- measure around the fullest part of your hip.
- Arm. Measure it around fullest part of your biceps.
- Wrist. Measure around your wrist.
- Sleeve length. Measure it from the top of the shoulder to any length desired (usually its wrist, but for many Gothic style clothes it can by much longer).
- Front length. Measure it from the spot between the neck and shoulder, over the fullest part of your bust to the waist.
- Back length. Measure it from nape of neck to waist.
- Length for skirts dresses and pants. Measure from waist to whatever length you'd like.
- Coat, Dress Length. Measure from the highest point of the shoulder down.
- Calf. If you order ‘legwarmers’ from us, measure under the knee, around your calf (over the fullest part) and write us the length of the “legwarmer”
